National Meetings

The Isotope and Radiation Division organized 3 technical sessions and is the co-sponsor of 2 additional sessions at the 2009 Annual Meeting.  A total of 17 papers will be presented in IRD sessions and an additional 12 papers and a tutorial will be presented in sessions co-sponsored with BMD.

One session and one general session are planned for the 2009 ANS Winter Meeting, November 15-19, 2009, Washington DC.  Several additional sessions arranged by BMD will be co-sponsored by IRD.  Please help the session organizers by submitting or stimulating a summary.  Summaries are due June 12, 2009.

Topical Meetings

The 8^th International Conference on Methods and Applications of Radioanalytical Chemistry (MARC VII) was held on April 6 - 10, 2009 in Kona, HI.  Meeting was very successful. There was a record number of participation on this meeting. The conference website is: http://altmine.mie.uc.edu/nuclear/marc/viii.shtml

 

IRD has agreed to co-sponsor a topical meeting with RPSD in 2010 in Las Vegas, NV.  Robert Hayes has been nominated by RPSD to serve as a technical program co-chair for this conference.  IRD needs to provide a technical co-chair for this topical in the near future to work with RPSD on developing a technical emphasis for this meeting.
